This is funny on one hand but not on another

 Its going all thru social media in parts of the south that do get bad hurricanes 

When a major storm DOES finally hit, people aren't going to believe the news. People will die!

Here's what someone posted to FB after TWC stated it was because the reporter was standing on grass unlike the cement the kids were on -

I bet they scout the area to look for the flimsiest plants/trees to get in shot, to make the wind look all the more dramatic.

Maybe it's just a case of weather people get way too excited for any inclement weather, while the rest of us just say "Eh, it's a little wet and windy out, but it's no worse than any other big thunderstorm."

3,000 people DIDN'T  die in Puerto Rico, they were all just standing in the water for dramatic TV.

That or they find a place where there's a "wind tunnel effect".  That stuff will lift you off your feet if you don't expect it.
