It's supposed to be 2 feet a year and I planted this tree at 6ft

I'm kinda scared since it's not following the instructions

Damn. That’s awesome. We have some maples we planted about 3 years ago too, but they’re only about 4-5 feet tall. I envy you now.

Well I do have my grandma's green thumb when it comes to planting I'm just wondering if it's all the fertilizers I've been using

Also during the 1st 2 years I've been feeding it insecticide to give it a chance to survive

If you’ve been using a lot of fertilizer, then I’m sure that has helped to jump like it has. I’m sure the leaves and branches are healthy if it’s gotten that big so fast. We have to put out any poison around ours, because for whatever reason, the damn ants love those trees we have.

Many trees and plants thrive when the acidity levels are higher. So if your fertilizer is increasing pH levels, then they’re are gonna jump. The pH levels in my garden were high. My tomato plants grew in some cases, 6-7ft tall. I didn’t use much fertilizer this year, because the garden has always been in the same spot. The soul is rich. By using a fertilizer that increases pH levels, you are creating some rich soil. That’s always a good thing.

As long as you didn't plant it over a septic tank...

Is that like a lucky rabbit's foot?

I dunno

I can get most plants to re-root after taking just a piece of it
