See this is why you don't make a character like this so late after the fact. Kind of disappointing if Danzo is already dead, and to Sasuke of all people. I thought he would amount to a lot more than this. danzo was probably where the rest of the council was at the time of orochimaru's attack. he could have been fighting too, we can't assume we saw every single person who participated in the combat. I suppose that's true. It just seems like a bad idea to introduce a character so important to running the village, and who Sarutobe is so integral to so late in the game.
