Haha, I was replying to VegetaFajita, but yes they really are the poor man's version of actual video game console badassery, which is why Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PS4 dominated its PC counterpart in terms of both quality and sales despite coming out a few years later because Steam and internet/PC services don't have the same power and appeal as the actual hardcore systems that these games were created for.
