RIP David Ogden Stiers

Yeah this could go in TV but whatever, better viewing here. Coincidentally enough I had only just started watching MASH earlier this year for the first time and by chance they were showing the later seasons. I instantly took a liking to his character the most. I see Sundance is showing an episode where I live in less than half an hour I haven't yet seen with him as the focus, definitely will watch. I remember watching him when I was younger on the Dead Zone TV series. And of course Cogsworth and Jumba were both my favorite characters from their respective Disney films, had no idea he played them both. Only 75 too, a damn shame. RIP

That's sad.  He played my favorite character on MASH and I loved him in Beauty and the Beast.

He was such a good actor. 

Edit:  I was just looking at wikipedia and it's amazing how much voice acting and cool guest roles he had done on tv shows.

I remember him guest starring on a episode of Frasier but I forgot he also guest starred on Star Trek:  The Next Generation plus a lot of sitcoms I grew up with.

Also he had a anime connection with voicing Grandpa Piccolo on Porco Rosso and was the narrator in My Neighbor the Yamadas.

That’s sad I loved him as Winchester. MASH was one of the few shows where they replaced characters with other ones and the show got much better.
