Some people like cleaning rest rooms... because of tips. I always bid far enough removed from that. I don't want a lot of contact with stuff that can be typically found in toilets. At least twice per year, every regular assignment is posted on a wall board. Workers are called to the board, one by one and in order of first to last in seniority. Each worker signs his/her name next to the desired assignment. The choice made becomes the "bid position" for six months. I've been handling "projects" for some time. Projects include cleaning up after unusual events, such as the time a fire sprinkler started unexpectedly and damaged an office.
