Bouvre Posted August 27, 2018 Author Posted August 27, 2018 I'm currently onto reading J Robert Lennon's Broken River, which is about a family moving into a house where a double murder occurred, and how their histories weave into the history of the house. It has a very unique approach to perspective, and wonderfully blends multiple tones into an omniscient narrator who occasionally even tells of a strange being referred to only as The Observer, who seems to be gaining more and more agency as the book continues. That and Misery I think Salem's Lot and The Talisman are two books that really stick out as my favorite by him I really, really liked the Dark Tower books but the last two books were wrote after he got hit by a van and he kind of rushed them out fearing he'd die before he finished the series 1 Quote

That and Misery I read a lot of his books growing up and they're schlocky but fun. The Dead Zone is also good. Edited August 28, 2018 by empty 1 Quote
