And if you don't see anything you like, let me know - I have approximately 450 titles in our banned list at my library. Happy Banned Books Week! Take a gay penguin to lunch today! (And if you get the reference, you get to pick a book off our used book rack.)
katt_goddess
All my books are banned! Not really but a lot of them would probably be tossed on some fundie's bonfire because the words make their little heads hurt. Also 'And Tango Makes Three' . It's a safe bet that I won't be ravaging your library shelves any time soon. I travel out of state like once a year currently and that's to Atlanta and back. mthor
Well, if we get something that sounds like it might interest you, I'll put it aside and let you know. We can always bicycle and meet half way.

katt_goddess
Aw, man - 3 days to go, and I haven't even banned half the books yet! I dusted and rearranged two sections of books here at least. Fall cleaning / spider hunting begins now. All books from all shelves are removed, one shelf at a time, dusted and any little monster trying to hibernate behind the shelves destroyed with extreme prejudice. I just have to try to keep myself from stopping to read something and getting lost in a book instead of dusting.
Bouvre
I finally made it back home this weekend and stole Ellison's Invisible Man from the shelves so I could finally actually read this book in honor of banned books.
mthor
Thank you! <3 I've got James Branch Cabell's Jurgen this year. I don't know anything about it, except that there were attempts made to ban it for obscenity, so it's probably right up my alley.
