I just replayed the game 100%. The controls are still solid, the 2D sprites are still beautiful, and the music by Koji Kondo is still excellent.

I got my copy in the 90s, packaged with the SNES. It's a great game. Some of the levels are really well made and fairly difficult I terms of platformers go. I still prefee Mega man for my platforms though.

Yeah, I think World streamlined some features 3 introduced. Many of the items in 3 were useless.
