Was at an event yesterday and I was given a Vanilla Bean mochi to try and I found the texture horrible  :barf:

I would eat custard ice cream over that shit any day

It's aight with other flavors

The cookies and cream I usually I in ice cream blend however the mochi flavor one made me not trust anything for a while

don't know but i tried green tea mochi ice cream once and felt like throwing up

That one I passed on the smell saved my taste buds

It's like a dumpling full of ice cream, which is great. The only problem is that there's always this layer of flour over it so that hampers the rice wrapper and the ice cream.

That's what ruins it

The overabundance of rice flour always makes it seem like you ate it while it was still being prepared. I'm cool with it, but it discourages me from going out of my way for it.

I eat it using my fingers.  :P

Vanilla bean is gross though. I usually get either green tea, strawberry, or mango. I once had a kona coffee one in college and I've been looking for them ever since. So good.

To me if they made 2 different versions of it one with flour and one without I might like it

Cookies and cream is my favorite ice cream

Mochi ruined that flavor

Way to much flour

I don't mind the rice flour. It doesn't really have a flavor to me and it's mainly there to keep the mochi from sticking to your fingers and everything else it touches.
