Had to call 3 ubers before one of them would agree to take me to Manhattan. I was even offering $40 cash for tolls & the trouble. Each one thought I was fucking with them. They're like "ok where do you really wanna go?" "The East side" "You really want me to take you to Manhattan?" "Yea" "I can take you to the train station" "No it's kind of a time sensitive issue." Then he's just like thinking about it for a minute & hes like "it is tempting. It is tempting. Your fare & I can work Manhattan & spend the night in queens... ... more than I'd make tonight here" The he ends up not taking me. The third driver was like "idgaf what the hell I drive I'm your driver!" He had an easy pass but I gave him the $40 anyway for being awesome. Only came to about $187 ride, but that's how bad I wanted to get out of nj as fast as possible. /you could have told him you wanted to go to Atlantic City, Wyoming.
