Lol, your perception is quite skewed. 40k is a lot (maybe not in Cali) but it's like $20/hr fulltime, anyone could live a very comfortable life on that in most cities. I dont remember where you work but...I doubt you come close to 40k. Min wage there is still only like $12 right? Almost nobody in this country clears 80k a year, that's like top 10% of income earners. Idk what naraku was making but he probably wasnt sniffing 80k
