Can't see a reason to rush it whether it's the anime cutting things or the manga doing it, either way. Sometimes if stuff gets off-screened in the manga, the anime will show stuff or elaborate on it. The Bleach anime did that a few times that were pretty cool. If this was like this in the manga then the Boruto anime should have done that here.
