I know this show is supposedly about assassins and training these kids to kill Korosensei, but this Takoaka character seems pretty extreme for this show.

He made me think of Andy Griffith or maybe the android sheriff from Eureka who is a reference to him, when he was still in happy go lucky friendly mode before the reveal he's a psycho.
