  1. Guess not, but reminds me of how the mods would ban people for "being underage" whenever they made the "I'm 12 years old joke." Haha.
  2. I want to take a train ride too. But with no suicidal thoughts associated with it.
  3. I see. But 12 year olds weren't supposed to be using the boards, either.
  4. Fuyubachi died of old age anyway? Oh, maybe not lol.
  5. What a time for a demolition. Wouldn't the building be checked beforehand to make sure no one is in it?
  6. AT&T Lily is back. Oh yeah baby. Well, as penance for AT&T's continued sins against its customers, turn her over to us...
  7. So once again the TiVo guide description doesn't seem to match the episode playing. "Japanese Hero Billboard Chart." But that's clearly not this. So, Toonami has taken to playing the "greatest hits" of My Hero Academia of sorts? So the rest of the episodes still aren't dubbed? If it's still going to take a good deal more time, just replaying the last few episodes over and over probably isn't tenable.
  8. You really like making an ass out yourself, don't you?
  9. I just looked it up earlier and no sign of any delays. The integrity of the fan service had better be maintained!
  10. Maybe you have an odd-shaped head. Like really, what is so odd about the shape of their heads?
  11. But they aren't really brother and sister. They're just cousins. Kirito was adopted by Suguha's mom after his parents died in a car accident or something? Or am I thinking of someone else's parents? Anyway, at least Reki didn't puss out and make them "step-brother" and "step-sister." And well, at least nothing came of it, and Leafa only crushed on Kirito in the game because she didn't know he was her brother. Is that screenshot even from the anime though? Looks like its from one of the NON-CANON games.
  12. What, you mean that's not something female cousins do when they go out on the beach? I'm pretty sure it is an out-of-universe, out-of-character color spread and Yuki Tabata just posed them like that for his and his reader's enjoyment. I don't think anything like that actually happens in the beach chapter(s) or corresponding episode. And when that picture comes up in the post-credits Petit Clover, Noelle throws a big fit about it. Annoying that I can't find the clip of it. But it's on episode 47 (47 strikes again!), and that's not even the beach episode funnily enough. https://comicbook.com/anime/news/black-clover-fan-service-noelle-mimosa-bikini-anime/ And I have to say I much prefer Funi's "Dorksta" to Crunchyroll's "Stupidsta."
  13. You guys really need to stop obsessing over that nothing show. I don't remember its art being much to write home about either.
  14. Moe blob faces are still unappealing. Manga - And anime - Looks like the girls have pointier looking chins than the guys, which makes enough sense. Yami doesn't have a pointed chin at all. But I never really noticed that. It was the angled eyes on some characters I noticed more than anything else. But I just took it as an art style choice and it didn't really bother me. And the artist is Japanese after all. And what was the Jump cover where all the mangaka drew other series characters' and we all agreed Tabata did a good or better job as drawing that series characters than the original artist? Here it is, but I can't find the explanation of who drew what. I think Tabata drew Asta and Hiei (I'd say looks pretty good,) Horikoshi drew Deku and Boruto, and Oda drew Luffy, and an abomination of Goku with Luffy's face. x_x I found something else interesting. Horikoshi redraws the first volume cover of Black Clover, and Tabata re-draws the first volume cover of My Hero Academia. I notice the difference a lot more with MHA than I do Black Clover. And I won't be able to un-see the chinny-chin-chins now. But I think I'll be okay. Here's the originals. They don't look like the swapped versions, so I guess the artists not only redid the volume one covers but did completely new covers of what could have been the volume one cover. That was definitely an interesting cover Tabata came up with for his first volume. And I remember when I first found out that the MHA volume covers look just like American comic book covers and thinking it was the coolest thing. Anyway, I think Tabata did a good job with Uraraka, and Horikoshi did a good job with Noelle. Both men know how to draw women well. And Icy-hot looking a bit like Yuno there, heh.
  15. I don't know what you're talking about, man. Old Toonami never had Shippuden. Adult Swim Toonami only licensed Part 1 for a while until they could get Shippuden. And got it as soon as they were able and they haven't taken it off or gone backwards with the episodes. I would have remembered if I had to watch any of this crap twice. They did get rid of part 1 though, and kick Boruto to the curb. But yes all the episodes have long been available via streaming and home video. This isn't really the way for people to follow the series if they are dead set on finishing the story as soon as possible, even in English dubbed anime form. And I'm certainly not one of them, especially since the story went to crap a good while ago and I read about the ending when the manga ended and it sounded hilariously bad. I really don't know why Demarco won't at least double up on it. Yup they already had Boruto airing which gave lots of spoilers to Shippuden. Though the same thing happened with Dragon Ball and DBZ. Of course, there was no real easy way to watch all the Dragon Ball eps before Z aired back then. You were basically stuck with what you got on TV or could easily find at a video store. And most fans watching Dragon Ball/Z back then would have been new to anime and not know about the black market tape trading or whatever went on back then to see shows before they got officially licensed.
  16. https://comicbook.com/anime/news/sword-art-online-alicization-war-of-underworld-release-date-window-delay-pandemic/ https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2020/05/09/sword-art-online-alicization-war-of-underworld-tv-anime-release-date-solidified-new-stay-home-visual-unveiled It looks like they have actually been doing work on SAO from home, which I didn't know about, or that that was possible. And a wallpaper was released of Eugeo telling Kirito to "stay home" instead of "stay cool" hahahahaha. I don't think that shut-in nerd needs much encouragement to do that. Looks like it is still coming out in July. I wonder if, the season had been able to finish out as planned and they hadn't had to split it and delay the second half to April due to the compositing director having depression issues, would we have gotten the whole rest of the show already and dodged covid on that one? https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2020-05-29/attack-on-titan-the-final-season-anime-promo-video-reveals-new-staff-at-mappa/.160061 Looks like we are not being told a release window for Attack on Titan Season 4/Final Season. A trailer and a lot of info was released though. https://comicbook.com/anime/news/dr-stone-season-2-character-designs-stone-wars-anime/ I haven't been able to find anything more recent than this on Dr. Stone. It tells us that at the very least some amount of work has been done on the new season. I'm pretty annoyed at all these bullshit websites I never heard of polluting the search results too. When did that shit start? Gizmoblaze, Spoilerguy, Herald Journalism, NextAlerts, Gizmoposts24 (wtf obsession do they have with Gizmo?,) LRMonline. ANN, Crunchyroll, ComicBook, CBR, those are the sites I want to come up. I checked just to make sure and of course that GizmoBlaze site that claimed it had release date confirmed for Dr. Stone Season 2 did not have shit confirmed! This is the epitome of a garbage nothing website. "The same characters that were in season 1 will be in season 2, and there will be new characters." BRILLIANT DEDUCTION THERE! https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2020/05/21-1/fire-force-season-2-heats-up-in-new-trailer-and-visual-confirming-july-2020-broadcast Fire Force coming out in July, as we already knew. I haven't seen the trailer for this or Attack on Titan yet. Is it pretty elaborate complete looking animation? https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2020-04-23/the-promised-neverland-anime-2nd-season-delayed-to-january-2021-due-to-covid-19/.158866 The Promised Neverland second season isn't coming out until January now. 😧 https://comicbook.com/anime/news/black-clover-anime-hiatus-pandemic-coronavirus/ https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2020-04-26/black-clover-anime-delays-new-episodes-due-to-covid-19/.159017 Black Clover stopped at 132. I see some reporting 133 could air in mid-June, but not from anyone known or credible. I guess we will find out soon enough if that is the case. My Hero Academia was already done right? So we are just waiting on Funimation to dub the rest of the episodes. The next season was announced, but would they be in any rush to work on it, especially now? Yeah, looks like no release date was given. I'm obviously not going to look too hard on this one since I haven't seen the last of season 4 yet. It makes me wonder that since work is being done from home on SAO, could it be the case for some of these other shows? Obviously not all studios will have the same capabilities, but I would like to hope so. It never the less begs the question of how is Fire Force also coming out in July otherwise? Oh yes, Ichigo... will return. I don't see any updates since the original announcement, which was March 18th or so. And now that I think about it, they said when the Burn the Witch stuff was coming out, but I don't recall that they actually said when the Bleach anime was coming out. Maybe something was said in that video that I forgot, but I don't feel like doing yet even more digging lol. But I can't see why they would announce in March after the pandemic had already started (I recall Kubo saying he was at home playing Animal Crossing and advised everyone else do the same LOL,) if it isn't still coming out soonish?
  17. You had ONE JOB, Demarco! Seriously, how the fuck do they not when shows are expiring? I think Food Wars was doing well so not sure why Demarco dragged his feet getting the 3rd season secured. I'm talking about before/when the anime came out. If I recall correctly, there was no translations for the manga, not official, not even scanlations. Funimation and Toonami obviously didn't keep up too well with the production progress, or even bother to get someone to check the quality of the story in the manga. So yeah it looked good on paper and seemed to start off ok, but did not pan out well at all. It's like how Demarco and co. would watch 3 episodes of something and think it's a good pick, like with GXP, but this time they didn't watch any! Or concern themselves with the production process or actual story content. The story was all over the place and a rushed mess. Don't remember the action much. I don't think the story would be much better under better pacing, either.
  18. Why does anime even have alt-right fans anyway? Do they not realize anime is made by another country with a culture quite unlike America's? Is it because of how traditional and conservative Japan is? What was part of Hitler's logic for the alliance? That it was a successful country composed of primarily one race? But, it's not all like that. And there are plenty of animes already made years ago that predate the whole "SJW!!!" concept, which isn't even a thing in Japan, that would offend these insecure manchildren. I bet they are going into convulsions right now after Toonami aired that video speech and put up the graphic. Good thing I have all the usual suspect anti-SJW fucktard Youtube channels marked "not interested," so hopefully none of their nonsense should pop up in my recommendations.
  19. There really is no help for you, is there? And when has this supposed maxim actually been proven true? The obvious right message is to denounce police brutality and support equal treatment and justice for everyone. Who gives a fuck if Toonami alienates a bunch of racists?
  20. Well, your question has been answered. They aired the video that said it's 2013 and everyone should be equal. Sadly that still isn't even the case in 2020, 7 whole years later. The speech was oddly prophetic and very fitting for what is going on right now. They also put that text graphic up explicitly supporting Black Lives Matter, which I didnt catch the first time since I'm not always looking at the screen, though I saw later. So good on Demarco and the rest of the Toonami crew for that. I never understood the idea of entertainment should be apolitical. So it should all just be mindless entertainment and not have anything to say? Even then, a lot of these people only complain about political messages because they disagree with them, and other times they don't complain because they never noticed or saw the political message their favorite movie was saying all along. Sports, you can argue is "supposed to be just about the game." But it hasn't been. There was the integration in baseball, the Olympics in Germany where a black guy won the gold medal and disproved Hitler's Aryan race notion and narrative. Even then, this isn't what I would call a mere political issue, this isn't about tax policy or something, it's a human rights issue.
  21. I don't know. But Mob is the older brother. And I really don't rememebe Blue Exorcist that well. It was pretty generic and forgettable. And I never watched the Kyoto Arc or read the manga.
  22. That and I can barely even remember who Shisui is lol.
