  1. Warhammer Titan. Damn, didn't even let them finish forming. Holy shit, a giant spear?
  2. "The civilians are just Eldian devils." Tyber, you bastard. I don't feel sorry for you because you're a father either.
  3. Hmm. It's too bad the Titans don't look less fucked up and more normal like in that drawing lol. I guess we just have to wait and see to see what the real deal is with the wall Titans.
  4. Not just the issues with transitions, but the pacing of the arcs was odd too, and the show in general. We had just barely been introduced to the world when then we started that arc where Company 8 fights Hibana's Company. It seemed way too early for infighting. But then that arc which felt like it could have gone on for a while ends very quickly as Company 8 runs through Hibana's Company fairly easily, and Shinra manages to convert Hibana to an ally with ONE PUNCH. And let's not forget how fast the stuff with Rekka was. He turns on them so fast and then the thing with his relationship with Tamaki is shown after the fact, his betrayal doesn't have a lot of impact that way. Then we have Lucky Lecher Lure in the middle of the fight. That was just poorly done all around. Then after that the show got into a good groove, ever since Benimaru and his company were introduced. But then things just got SILLY with Sho and Shinra's powers and then the "explanations" for them. Then there is a lady who can heal people by setting them on fire, the explanation is her ability takes the form of the medical snake symbol thingy. Ok. But with everything that has happened since then, I have realized I should just treat the stuff in this show like it is basically magic and not try to think about the "explanations" too much, and roll with it. I'm pretty sure Neil Degrasse Tyson or Michio Kaku would have aneurysms if they watched this show. So we had a good intro followed by two wonky rushed arcs followed by a decent momentum for the rest of the first season, and realization the show was giving up on being grounded, or never had any such aspirations to begin with. In any case, the fights, and the new characters intros and world building have been pretty good in season 2. And yeah with talking immortal animals and whatnot things have gotten ever more wacky. x_x
  5. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-11-16/aniplex-usa-announces-sword-art-online-alternative-gun-gale-online-english-dub-cast/.139550 This is the article I found. It was on Hulu and Netflix. That doesn't sound like exclusivity to me. So it might be easier for Toonami to get GGO than we thought. I still haven't seen the dub yet, so if Toonami were to show it, that would be new to me at least. I also haven't seen it since it first premiered so it wouldn't be like I just saw it or anything.
  6. But you said this show looks amazing compared to SAO. That makes it sound like you were talking about the art and animation quality. Fire Force looks great, but so does SAO. Is this was what you were talking about? Redo of Healer? Why do all the characters have sicko faces?!
  7. Yes that Titan's head was about half way up and it looked like one of the normal Titans to me. Yes the Colossal was one of the 9. I don't get why there would be millions of them. Well it was Tyber that was saying this and I'm not sure we can take his word as gospel lol. I don't suppose anybody did a recap on this? Lots of episodes and I don't really want to re-watch them all. But I can't just do a search since I will also run afoul of spoilers that way.
  8. Well that makes a lot more sense lol. But the show's title isn't even grammatically correct. Doesn't no in Japanese mean of? So the title should be Attack of Titan, or maybe Attack of the Titans, would make the most sense, given the premise. But maybe not, if the show is meant to be named after the Attack Titan itself. It was also because of this title and me skimming over what I thought was a synopsis for the series that made me think this was a sci-fi space series when I first heard about it. I remember reading about military uniforms and "Attack on Titan" made me think there is some space colony on the moon of Saturn called Titan that gets attacked. The thing I read said there would be some reveal that the series really takes place on a Dyson Sphere. I now know that must be bullshit and I have no idea what I read and can't find it back now whenever I look. It was probably some fan theory I read. I don't think this show is going to go that far down the rabbit hole of TWISTS lol. It's convoluted enough as it is!
  9. I never really thought that the walls had to be as tall as the Titans inside. I guess I never really thought about it before. They could be stacked on top each other, with some sort of internal structure holding the the second layer up. Plus the time we saw part of the wall damaged and saw a Titan inside, it was one of the regular ones. Yeah that was the big deal about the Colossol Titan is he was actually taller than the walls.
  10. For some odd reason Kirito is shown with his plain clothes in the book. I think the shot of Kirito in his full swordsman duds for the anime was much better. I do prefer the anime's art style as well.
  11. It's funny that with the 200 year old copy of Kirito and Eren the way is now, both sound tired as fuck and give no fucks lol. Heh I thought you were joking. I could not stand Tenchi. It's because of that series I tend to avoid harem shows like the plague. Oh yeah good point! Unless it turns out to be powered by magic or something. The only reason 200 years went by was because of the hijackers sabotaging the machine. It's possible to have the time set to pass the same as the real world. The only reason it was ever set higher was so that the world would keep developing and someone like Alice would appear, since the original purpose was to develop AIs to use for unmanned weaponry.
  12. I thought those were regular Titans and that the Colossal was unique since it was a Shifter. You'd think that Isayama could have come up with a better name than "Attack Titan."
  13. Yeah I don't know why people can't just ignore things they don't like. I guess they have some sort of FOMO where they want to be in on the conversation of something popular even if it's something they hate. Or maybe they just like to bitch. But man, Black Clover went on hiatus on Toonami only to be replaced by SAO, then SAO ends only to be replaced by Black Clover again, and the haters are going into convulsions, I love it!
  14. The anime itself is going on hiatus in Japan soon, but it is probably going to come back after the manga has gotten further ahead. I guess Peirott learned from Naruto and Bleach to not just make constant filler and instead take breaks. They are going to follow the Fairy Tail pattern. https://comicbook.com/anime/news/black-clover-anime-ending-hiatus/
  15. BLACK CLOVER IS BACK! https://comicbook.com/anime/news/toonami-anime-new-schedule-february-2021/ The Heart and Soul of Toonami has been returned and everything is right in the world again.
  16. Yeah I know some people complain about Inosuke and Zenitsu and aren't big fans of them, but I don't think the show could have continued to be the same as it was, even if there was a bit of comic relief before they showed up.
  17. Yeah this show definitely got more comedic than I expected after Zenitsu and Inosuke were introduced, but I think it may have been needed what with all the tragedy in the show.
  18. Nezuko noises are so cute. You've been traveling around with a girl this cute this whole time.
  19. Great now I'm even hungrier after seeing that. A trip to the fridge is due when this is over.
