I'm late on this, but I thought the show was pretty decent. The thing I said about Teela's hair was a just a joke, I wasn't agreeing with right wing YouTube assholes. Who cares what they think anyway? They don't actually care about these properties, they just use them to latch onto to spread their garbage opinions and get views to make money. You saw as soon as Vic got milked dry they moved to stanning for Gina Carano. Scareglow was awesome. Orko was actually awesome. And I really can't see how these goofs can try to say men were made to look bad in this show when Man-at-Arms was a total badass, like a one man army, and He-Man/Adam was revered as a hero. By the way, you guys should check out the CGI series if you haven't yet. I thought this other series was well done. Very fun and charming. The jokes about Ram-Ma'am and ramming and Adam write themselves. Skeletor was a lot of fun in this series. I thought the writing was good overall. Likable characters and good character and plot development as it went along.

I don't if this warrants a new thread for discussion, now that the series has come out. I'll just post this here for now, and if anyone wants to make a new thread, they can. I just watched all the episodes. I thought the series was great. The Duel had a style like an old Japanese Samurai movie. Having only the blaster bolts and lightsabers in color was very cool. The Twins was Trigger incarnate haha! It was crazy! I just know the canon "rules" obsessed people will have convulsions over it, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It also could serve as a pilot to a full series, which I would love to see. The Village Bride was really well done. It's always interesting to see a totally different kind of planet and culture in Star Wars. I would not mind seeing more of the Jedi from this either, she was cool. The Ninth Jedi was also really great. It did NOT go the way I expected. This one could also serve as a pilot to a series which could be amazing. The Elder was by Trigger, but it felt like a more "normal" anime, and not like Trigger's style, but it was still good. But why the hell has lightsabers in the rain not been done before now?! Unless I'm forgetting something? Lop & Ocho was another great one, really gets emotional. This could also be a pilot for a series which could be really good. Akakiri, T0-B1, and Tattooine Rhapsody were my least favorite. By no means bad, and well done, but not completely my cup of tea. T0-B1 and Tattooine Rhapsody both had "cute" art styles. It was honestly hard to tell if characters were meant to be children or not in Tattooine Rhapsody. Though I got to say, that band was quite the motley crue, heh. T0-B1 also just got really weird and esoteric. It was cute though, just not my favorite. Akakiri, I'm not sure what they were going for with that art style. I don't think I've seen any anime that looks like this, not necessarily in a good way, either. Some of the things and characters were kind of ugly. I did like the chocobo-like creatures though. It also didn't go the way I thought or would hope or expect. But, it's definitely not the direction things commonly go with Star Wars stories, at least not in my experience. This could be a series too and that might help it. And before anyone tries to theorize about one of the characters that appeared - Anyway, some of these stories really do not explain some stuff, which I know is going to drive some Star Wars fans crazy. Me personally, I prefer some things in Star Wars to be mysterious. But, as I said, some of these could be pilots for possibly really good series. Especially The Twins and The Ninth Jedi. I would REALLY like to see those continue. If Lucasfilm wants to have Disney Plus be like another anime farm like Netflix, but with Star Wars anime, I would LOVE THAT. But man, this whole anthology series has been a dream come true already! Oh, and all the different music was GREAT! I would talk more specifics and spoilers, but then I'd have to write even more haha.

That ANN reviewer is a goof. He said he didn't even finish the original series, and didn't watch Final Act, so why is he even reviewing this? I stopped reading the first episode review as soon as I read that.

Yeah, but I'd rather see Abel get comeuppance from Fena and/or her allies. Grace needs to get comeuppance from them too, assuming she isn't dead, which I highly doubt.

I wonder what the pronunciation is supposed to be according to the mangaka. We've had situations in the past where Japanese actors can't say a word correctly, then people complain when the word/term is pronounced correctly by American or Canadian voice actors, and say "the dub got it wrong." This is an issue whenever authors like to use non-Japanese words to sound cool, then the Japanese voice actors have an issue pronouncing the words. So, just because that's how the Japanese VAs said it, doesn't necessarily mean that's the "official" pronunciation.

Do we need three versions? Japanese, regular English dub, and game-style English dub?

Damn it, I posted the wrong Eggman Theme! This evil doctor looks a lot like Robotnik though. But even Robotnik wasn't as unethical as this guy! Why would it be pronounced that way? He is a giant, so it should be Giganto (said like Gigantor without the R on the end)-machia.

That series ended on a terrible note. The latter portion of the second season was terrible in general, actually. And it was the only Gundam show I liked besides G Gundam. So, bleh.

But at least it's just a rerun at 3AM and not in a more prominent position.

Yeah maybe it it is worse than I thought and that's why I don't remember how bad Evolution was. And yes DBZ was the real ending. Dragon Ball was a manga that ended, and DBZ adapted the latter portion and it ended, and that is that. Super was a new anime made from scratch. Even if Toriyama has more involvement in Super, he's either gone senile, forgotten, or retconned so much, it doesn't mean anything anyway. Goku was NOT a guy who just cared about fighting strong guys and Toriyama is full of crap for saying that. Goku cared about people and wasn't some special needs sociopath like they turned him into in Super. I was pretty pissed off by Batman Forever and Batman & Robin. Batman (1989) and Batman Returns were both excellent, but it was clear neither of these movies were carrying anything over. New actors, new design style, not following up on past storyline, no Tim Burton. So not only was the good Batman not continuing, THIS over the top, campy, garish crap was what we got in its place. And to top it all off both movies were just terrible! I don't know. Batman Forever and Batman & Robin must have been pretty bad since no live action Batman movie was made for like 8 years. It honestly felt longer than that, and at the time, it felt like live action Batman was done. But yeah, thank GOD for the Nolan films making up for that Schumacher schlock!

Well from what I heard (I didn't want to look too closely because I didn't want to run into spoilers,) people were upset the Demon Slayer manga ended when and how it did. To me it came off as abrupt. It did seem surprising it ended as soon as it did, especially with well it was doing, and everything that had been set up and all the characters that were introduced. If the Hashira and 12 Kisuki hasn't been introduced, I could understand it being a shorter series. But I have no idea how far ahead the manga was of the anime at that time or how many chapters there are. I've never read any of the manga and I can't look further into the situation without spoiling myself or just going and binging the whole manga, which I don't feel like doing. For all I know I was hearing wrong, or the people who were upset about the ending were a minority of malcontents that don't know what they're talking about.

Man, it took me way too long before I read anything there about this Grace O'Malley being a pirate lol. Those pirates already got into several fights and cussed a lot of trouble though. Plus they are who captured Fena in the first place, so I wouldn't say they had little to no impact on the story. Well, the Goblin Knights have now gone rogue against their master, so they could be considered rule-breakers now? And Shitan is probably going to disobey his order to kill Fena (I hope.) But that's true, they're hardly traditional pirates, and they don't sail on a pirate ship, but some anachronistic submarine Karin built lol. At least Fena had a piratey outfit before she got captured.
