That is true as well. But ever since I read a blog about the horror stories at conventions on the old That Guy With The Glasses website years ago, I had no interest in going to anime conventions, and never went to one. Back then, things that were listed included B.O. of attendees, girls brandishing yaoi paddles, and "con flu." I imagine it would be worse to have covid running around as the "con flu" as opposed to a cold going around or something. I remember a friend and I were going to go to a convention a couple years ago, but the cost of admission was ridiculous, and for z-level guests! We wouldn't have had any money left to buy anything! So yeah I've never been to an anime convention and sure as hell wouldn't go to one now.

I think we're beyond babysitting people at this point. People are going to have to take personal responsibility for themselves.

So that's what happened to that village. And I said this before, but ever since it was revealed that the King had MIND CONTROL POWERS, the Titan powers went from being somewhat grounded to basically magic, and it's only gotten worse since then.

Yeah I don't know if Yamato even has a backstory haha. Anime Filler List calls this episode and the whole arc filler. The wikia doesn't say if it is based on anything from the manga or reference books or anything, but it had this under trivia. When Kakashi confronted Orochimaru during the third round preliminary of the Chūnin Exams, Orochimaru said that Kakashi did not have the Sharingan last time they met, but this episode contradicts that. The only way to know for sure would have been to have read the manga and be aware of any supplemental materials. If I try to look any further I'll probably run into spoilers.
