Yeah I know. Funny thing is it's not too far-fetched. But really the War on Drugs should be done away with. Some years ago I saw this show where this guy claimed to have a vision of the future. He said World War III would start when America got involved in Mexico's civil war. He also claimed that a giant tsunami was headed toward Europe in the Mediterranean, and they detonated a giant nuclear bomb to stop it, which ends up backfiring and wiping out the entire Italian peninsula.

I wasn't able to watch last week's episode live because I was trying to program a remote. But yeah they randomly decided to develop Pazu and give him an episode. The other characters seem to know him much better than we do. And Bato and Motoko don't seem too concerned that he might have been replaced with a doppelganger.
