The first I can do, no problem. The latter... eh, I'm about half-way there on that front.

1. I had a feeling you'd despise the fat clown dude, especially when they framed the scene to have an inadvertent close-up of his crotch. 2. To be fair, Noelle only got that personality because her siblings were emotionally abusive fuckbuckets. 3. I have faith he'll eventually give up on the woman herself, but as with most fetishes, he's never giving up on that outfit. MY HERO ACADEMIA - YESSSSSSS MORE MIDNIGHT. I'm not sure whether Hatsume's still fun or if she's starting to wear thin on me. And that's how Deku learned how to kick. DRAGON BALL SUPER - Freezus Iced, the frames per second rate this episode was wildly inconsistent. ATTACK ON TITAN - I love those little isometric pictographs they have for these strategy moments. I have a feeling their attack on Reiner is going to ultimately backfire somehow, even after they nailed it. THE PROMISED NEVERLAND - Krone's death was way too kino to be horrifying, like End of Evangelion before it. Now Isabella breaking Emma's leg? That's where the real horror is. SWORD ART ONLINE: ALICIZATION - "Slashing the future" is the new "predicting the predicitions". In spite of that, Eugeo vs. Hol Horse was pretty fun, at least until the clown man nobody likes showed up and completely ruined the mood. It's really telling that when it cut from him to Kirito and Alice, I remarked, "Finally, likeable characters." Then again, it's me, so my opinions on SAO aren't worth shit. JOJO'S BIZARRE ADVENTURE: DIAMOND IS UNBREAKABLE - I recently watched some videos of Jotaro vs. DIO that switched back and forth between English and Japanese, and now that I have that refresher, it's interesting to see how Stardust Crusaders' DBZ-style final battle that was all about who could push their limits further until the other one was dead perfectly contrasts Diamond is Unbreakable's reliance on strategy and technique in its final battle. (I, for one, loved Josuke tricking Kira into committing remote patricide. ) Like I said, you should've checked Okuyasu's pulse before assuming he was dead. BLACK CLOVER - The Virgin Deku figures out solutions to insurmountable problems by waiting for others to give him the Eureka moment he needs, while the Chad Asta thinks it through to the best of his ability and finds the solution that way. The manga did the hot springs fanservice better; still no nipples, but much less censorship steam. BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS - Huh, less screaming than I expected. That's only natural, we can't have Spike Spencer blowing out his vocal chords again, especially with Eva getting a Netflix redub he got shut out of despite being in the right region for it. Also, are post-credits sequences normally supposed to come after the licensor vanity plate? NARUTO SHIPPUDEN - Half the episode was flashbacks, the chief director personally handled the episode... yep, this is pure Naruto right here. And we're only one week away from the first of the three episodes responsible for the infamous "6 Billion Armadillo Penis Rainbow" episode ranking. (Don't ask.) HUNTER x HUNTER - Holy fuck, Illumi is completely batshit. Easily the worst Zoldyck, even taking Cylon Mom and the fat kid into consideration. Oh well, at least Gon's back to normal and about to meet his deadbeat dad for the first time. In a way, I'm glad Vic didn't play Pariston; not because I want a certain Vic-hater to stop speaking to me like they hate me (again, I really have to get over that), but because Vic isn't nearly the speed chess master that Pariston is. [good job deku, you can go on to the next stage now]

Shit, I dunno, maybe because I don't like having my perspective on events as I experienced them changed because I read someone else's perspective on those same events, maybe? Or maybe because if I try to defend my opinion in response, the original opinion-holder will defend theirs right back like they're trying to convince me I'm in the wrong. Like I said, worrying about those sorts of things is stupid, and I'm trying to move away from them before I end up being just as hated here as I was back in 2008 ASMB.

In the heat of things, yes, and believe me, I'm trying my damndest to get over it. I'm well aware that everyone's entitled to their opinion, and that if two of those opinions clash, it's not the end of the world for either one. But there's just a part of me that feels irked, to put it lightly, whenever someone says something along the lines of "I don't like ____, and here's why" that, because of my stance on the topic, be it like or love or even toleration, I end up reading as "___ is objectively bad, ergo you suck for liking it". Add in any number of additional facets like choice wording, writer personality, sometimes profanity where profanity isn't required, and that gut reaction ends up overshadowing the response of "That's okay" that I wind up sticking to in the end. Underneath those thoughts, I know full well that such brazen statements as "Nobody needs Toonami anymore" or "Vic Mignogna was always a terrible voice actor" are matters of opinion, but really, you can't blame me outright for having the inverse of "STOP LIKING WHAT I DON'T LIKE" as the first feeling to pop up in the process of emotions that I go through whenever I read such statements. Come to think of it, my "personal problem" isn't just anger at opinions that counter my own. It's fear that if I read into them, if I really think long and hard about them, I'll wind up having a complete 180 in opinion and end up completely agreeing with the opinion in question. I know, it's a stupid belief system to have, but like I said, I'm trying to move past that phase where I quit following anime blogs because the users wound up hating half the shows I watched in a given year, and towards one where I can just brush off certain opinions after giving them a good read-through if they aren't in line with my own opinions. Exactly. Believe me, Queen, I think you're a cool person. I don't want this casual message board acquaintanceship of ours to be soured because I said some stupid things like I did earlier today and reacted in a stupid way like I did the other week. I won't blame you if you decide to downvote me, snark at me, or just ignore me outright after this time-consuming spiel that would honestly be better suited for a private message, that's your decision to make. Just know that I'm not nearly the jerk I've made myself out to be recently, and that I'm honestly trying to better myself from those days in the late-2000s ASMB where I was considered one of the more annoying users by the majority of AD. I may still say stupid things - to err is human, after all - but however you or anyone else responds, especially in the negative, I'll try not to be a complete ass about it next time. So... truce? (If you're wondering why I quoted you twice, it's because I watched the last two episodes of Evangelion yesterday (yes, yes, I know it sucks ), they had scenes where characters responded to the same question more than once, and I was in a psychoanalytical enough mood while writing this that I couldn't resist the opportunity to subtly reference it.)
