  1. Apparently everything is down, and Toonami is a symptom.
  2. Adult Swim needs to show this eventually.
  3. Shit premise. It should have more in common with OPM at least as a subversive story. I pictured the kid being the universe's Marshall Law, someone who hates and hunts "heroes". But no, that would be interesting.
  4. Hey at least he didn't suggest Diet OPM. (Academia. God I hate that show).
  5. Steven Universe is such a dumpster fire and their fans are an infection that try to ruin other shows.
  6. Blame Vince. https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2017/7/16/15978256/talking-smack-cancelled-vince-mcmahon-unhappy-wwe-smackdown
  7. Anime was a mistake.
  8. My point is that Toonami's softer ratings cannot be viewed in a vacuum.
  9. Unless Toonami starts getting the rights to show MLB games during the summer the ratings will continue to be soft. It's television all around.
  10. Even Family Guy's ratings have begun to cool. So it's lower all around l
  11. I would contend that's entirely the reason. Imagine airing Season 5 of Samurai Jack in Japan. Same thing happens.
  12. Zeni's in the thread, so dumpster fire?
  13. There was a UFC that weekend too. Look, it's a different economy. Online kills.
  14. This technically belongs in Cartoons, despite Adi Shankar's best efforts.
  15. It's also not an action show, at least not in the conventional sense, but I enjoyed it a lot more, while Academia made me want more One Punch Man.
  16. At least we can be sure Academia won't show. Phew.
  17. It was a rerun against a Manny Pacquiao fight on ESPN so Top Rank can launch a monthly boxing series on basic cable. Of course the rerun was gonna lose.
  18. Actually that the original said everything it needed to say, had no open plot threads, and resolved every single character arc.
  19. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-07-05/studio-trigger-a-1-pictures-darling-in-the-frankxx-anime-reveals-video-visual-staff/.118447 Visuals for DARLING IN THE FRANKXX.
  20. I am a firm believer this is the most unnecessary sequel since Grease 2.
  21. There is no way Horn won.
  22. Well Gridman was the subject of a 5 minute short Trigger did for the Japan Animation Expo, although this series is apparently a remake.
  23. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-07-02/studio-trigger-announces-3-new-anime-titles/.118350 They include: A sci-fi show titled Darling, a co-production with A-1 Pictures. SSSS (Or Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad) Gridman - A remake of the old tokusatsu production better known in the US for a localization which starred Matthew Lawrence and Tim freaking Curry. And finally, Promare, a project described as being similar to Kill La Kill and Gurren Lagann in style.
  24. No. No one would watch that.
