    🤔 I'd love a My Hero Academia marathon of episodes they never reran before, but it depends on the amount of done-age Toonami is by that point with the it. A Black Clover marathon would be ample reason for me to take a holiday! With Shaman King given a BROTHERHOOD treatment soon, you can bet that Toonami will juuuuust WANT dat shit when it's dubbed.

    When I heard Funimation uploaded both the dubs of episodes 87 and 88 this past Sunday at the same time, I thought, "you watch. Toonami's gonna be true to their current habits and announce only a few days before Saturday that they will also air them!" Sure enough, 87 will air this Saturday.

    I think it has to do with not only the amount of gore, but the supernatural, surreal nature of how the gore is presented. Imagine airing something like this at 12 midnight. I think that's why the Toonami crew think it's not worth giving it a better treatment. Now as for it being unpopular with the audience, I have no idea.

    Did you notice that anytime Japan making an anime into a live-action movie, it's based on a story where all the characters are multiple races? ... Japan is like the least diverse country in the world. Why the hell can't they just adapt an anime that takes place IN Japan with only Japanese?!
