I lost power because of Isaias and had to skip out of last week's broadcast. I'm just frustrated that anytime a shonen manga is revived with a sequel that follows the heroes' children, it always has to mirror as many things about the original as possible for marketing all because fans wanna see the same things!

I mean ... aren't the crew assigned to Toonami already in the single-digits? Even one lay-off for them would be devastating.

Oh that makes sense. I haven't followed the Soul Eater manga, but I hear the last arc contains a lot more condensed fanservice that you would usually find in the FIRST issues of Soul Eater, when the story hadn't yet gone into full swing and the characters were only being introduced. So I hate to think what would happen to that last arc if it got a BROTHERHOOD treatment.

This is why The Dark Knight Returns is remembered as one of the biggest influences to the Batman fans and artists, and why it's assigned reading in some colleges. It made Batman dark again.
