To me, spending Season 2 on filler was a stupid idea. Then again, there wasn't a whole lot of source material they could use anyway until they were ready to adapt Book of Circus, which was excellent. The whole anime franchise is a case of screw the manga, let's adapt enough while it's still popular.

I hope so. As Paul of the Toonami Faithful Podcast keeps saying, "Hunter X Hunter is getting killed. It doesn't deserve this time slot. It is way too good for that."
