  1. They were just rocks in miniature cat carriers. Do you see anybody selling them today, forty years later? Of course not. Some businesses are just a flash in the pan. Rich today, broke tomorrow.
  2. He questions. The goal is to make robots or androids that are self aware as humans while at the same time, we expect them to always serve humans. So, what if it decides it doesn't want to serve humans? Sounds a lot like what I said a long time ago. If somebody invents a robot smart enough to do my job, it would also be smart enough to join a union and demand wages and vacation time. Glad to see Glenn catching up with me.
  3. Invisible gas... must be that pesky carbon monoxide. And, your cracks argument sounds like you're describing Mysterious Mose as he expertly wiggles his ectoplasmic self through a key hole. I mean, we're not talking about cigarette gasses at 985,000 psi on the smoker's side of the door.
  4. Who knows WHAT was going through your head at the time? Or, did the sight of a grey smoke cloud trigger that idea?
  5. Nobody smokes there.
  6. Flop... just like that. 18 is pretty old for a cat. I'm guessing either a stroke or heart attack. I'll put some incense up, ring the bell. Anybody got a Mexican cat skeleton figure to sell?
  7. I like when anime characters get all hyper active chibi.
  8. Let me put anthropogenic climate change into an easier to understand term. Don't call it hot soup when I don't see steam rising from it.
  9. Invisible gas... carbon monoxide, no doubt. NEXT! ...
  10. The argument is that the particles will not pass completely through any solid material. And by solid, I mean like stone, drywall or plywood.
  11. You really need a citation to prove that Manhattan isn't at sea bottom?
  12. Water forms little droplets in the vacant spaces between the fibers.
  13. Oh... is Manhattan at sea bottom now?
  14. People hide money in the darnedest places.
  15. Neither sounds appealing. Mind reading would just get a lot of old commercial jingles and other stuff usually found on the web. Controlling people would just get boring after a while. I'd go with teleportation as a third option.
  16. Well, it ain't Atom and Eave.
  17. My evidence is every time a dire prediction doesn't materialize.
  18. Where do you think Hamilton Township is?
  19. Sempsey doesn't reside in Atlantic City. Try Hamilton Township.
  20. I guess you were on excused absence when that was covered. Signed, Epstein's Mother.
  21. I'll grant that you're right in one regard. Some people complain just to see whether they could get comped.
  22. Oil companies don't care about their reputations.
  23. Didn't they teach you in middle school that smoke is mostly solid particles? I guess for you, they're magic and can pass through other solid things such as doors and drywall.
  24. The key word is, "most". You're still going to get an oaf who burns things.
