    There’s only a few specific uses for VPNs nowadays. 1. Screwing your ISP for throttling you or stopping certain services because fuck you. 2. Getting Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, etc. libraries from other countries because the USA is assholes about content and shows. Also, because fuck your ISP. 3. Traveling in other countries. (Which was the ORIGINAL use of VPNs in the first place.) 4. Making a secure tunnel for certain purchases or visits that you don’t want prying eyes looking into.

    Probably was. My dad was more pissy than usual today, so I’m thinking there was. It was pretty much all service 911 was up, but I can’t confirm too much without talking more to him (He is 911 and his team built the cellular backbone for it in 1981-1984. He’s usually in the know on this kind of thing.)
