i've been lucky to where i don't have to do that because usually after i shred it, i let it sit in the crock pot for about 10ish minutes and it's usually fine

i was trying to make pulled pork for tacos. i've done it 1000 times, using different recipes to get new ideas. the one i tried was https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/214992/andys-spicy-green-chile-pork/print/?recipeType=Recipe&servings=8&isMetric=false the seasoning was great but it was suuuuuuuuuper overcooked. i couldn't shred it. so it turned into a regular, very chewy, pork roast

idk i don't like to blame the equipment. it was probably something dumb i did, but i followed the directions exactly so i'm not sure why it got overcooked
