36 chapters into Death Note. Finding the manga fun and the current scenario intriguing, though I am bothered by how the events of Chapter 33 played out.

Watched all of Wander Over Yonder season 1. Now going through season 2.

Man, Ninja Kamui feels like a show that could've been perfectly alright if it didn't shoot itself in the foot with the heavy CG use. You set up your final boss fight to be two superninja against a ninja wizard with Force powers, and then the fight ends up being three pallete swaps of the same CGI model smacking each other kinda slowly with Advent Children swords and the only ninjutsu used are dream sequences. At least Mike got a satisfying finale on the side. Emma dying how she did still feels like a mistake, but at least we get to see Mike kick Joseph's ass. Still can't believe Demarco managed to survive the entire show.

I can agree with that. LOL at how this was the only forum I saw that reported on the "Ninja Kamui is getting an extra episode" news.

You mean how the description reads "as solid as these emotional gut punches are, her death still feels pretty unnecessary"?

I actually don't get why Demarco didn't buy Sword Alt but got Lycoris instead. They're the same show, but one has the uber-popular SAO brand attached.

Why do these fights have to keep going on forever? Who was asking for Daki to turn out to have another demon living inside of her that's even stronger than her and only comes out after she should be beaten but actually isn't? Why do demons have to be able to instantly regenerate from all injury and have infinite stamina and even the rule where they can be killed by chopping their heads off is so easy to rules lawyer away?

Trying to finish up Regular Show so it stops taking up room in my backlog. Then I have to watch Invader Zim.

Obligatory statement about how last episode, Obito TELEPORTED OUT OF THE AFTERLIFE USING THE SHARINGAN, then touched Kakashi to give him Double Mangekyo, who then managed to pull out a Perfect Susano'o on his first try. I hate Shippuden so much.

The ToonamiERA thread regulars are mostly negative towards Ninja Kamui, barring the optimists who post like they're irreverent trolls who act like they're above caring about anime. The track record for Toonami originals has been abysmal, with FLCL Alternative being the only show they'll give any grudging respect to, and it's insane that they keep wasting money on producing duds rather than getting airing rights for proven shows.

Humorously, the newest episode of the Toonami Escape Podcast is "Sharingan... again?!".

It's funny because that's not actually the episode title but then who cares.
