    Chat GPT is the only thing so far that was genuinely unsettling when I saw what it was capable of doing. Prior to that point I was convinced concerns were mostly overblown and premature, but ChatGPT feels like we are indeed well on our way to a 4th industrial revolution. It drastically changed my perspective on what we're actually dealing with here.

    Yeah...and one aspect of the bonkers story is that the actor Raul Julia, was basically on his death bed during filming. That's really just 1 unfortunate footnote compared to all the crazy shit that went down. This was when Van Damn was at the height of his fame and drug addiction.

    Yeah when everything started coming out it really put a damper on all his great work as a VA. Regardless, the performances on their own are memorable.

    I actually buy Bakugo having a grudge against Midoriya for being the de facto chosen one, but I don't recall it ever being framed that way before. Makes his constant attitude a little more tolerable. It's possible that was always implied and i just missed it too...lol

    There is a K-drama called Misaeng that exemplifies work culture in countries like S. Korea and Japan. Incredible show that really opened my eyes to how buttoned up and downright abusive work culture can be over there. Not sure if both countries are exactly alike, but I think the underlying cultural factors at play are similar.

    I cant believe the sheer volume of Isekai that is on Crunchy at any given time. I started one last night for example that is fairly new, but felt so generic after a couple episode. It's crazy repetitive. RAAS seems to be a standout of the genre, so not surprised to hear it's good.

    I totally agree about the medium being a better fit and I have a a thing for printed artwork too. I'm wondering how many low key great mangas i've missed over the years that never made it to an anime. Been meaning to buy some books and try to jumpstart the hobby again. I actually enjoy the viz and other ipad apps as a happy medium.

    You read the manga ey? You're way ahead of the game...respect. I kind of meandered through the early episodes, but the end of that first arc really impressed me.
