Honestly a lot of what he wants to be done involves getting all of Congress on board for stuff like the tariffs which will also get a lot of corporate backlash And the mass deportations will only work if all of the states comply and obviously the blue states won't and the GOP has done a lot to give states more power. That doesn't just apply to the red states

The presidential election and down ballot voting were completely disconnected this election and that very much points to this not being about an election decided by crazies. This was not an election decided by racists and sexists and transphobes. It was decided by people caught in the middle who were fed up

The latter need to have their votes earned. The Democrats failed to do that.

My takeaway is that there are really 2 kinds of Trump voters. The cultists who parade around in MAGA memorabilia and the people fed up with the Democrats

I think a lot of it was Biden refusing to listen to anyone about dropping out despite his health and acuity.
