I think they're messaging in general sucked because Harris couldn't move away from Biden without contradicting the incumbent government. And I think beyond the whole racism and bigotry, that was what truly fucked her campaign which needed more to inspire people to vote for her. People are not happy about the state of the country and Harris provided policy but nothing quite digestable beyond Abortion Good to really stoke that flame. This is why her turnout was lower than expected I think

Yeah my wife and I were hit hard by 2016 but I'm honestly just irritated this happened again. And I don't think there was cheating. Trump winning the popular vote by over 5 mil is not a glitch or a sign of cheating It's a symptom of a much bigger problem that this country will have to deal with probably for the rest of our lives

Honestly I would argue that the reason we had such high turnout from the young guys demographic is because of the digital landscape. I wouldn't put the blame completely on that but it's what mobilized that demographic. Listening to Musk, Rogan, Tate, Shapiro, etc And yeah I think the closest thing we got to the opposite to that was breadtube and the above personalities flourished because of the backlash to more progressive media

I don't think anyone took this demographic seriously before because they've historically never turned out in large numbers. Trump and his team and Elon and Rogan were able to get them to turn out. And that's fucking scary I'll fucking tell you These kids are lost and I don't think there's any good way to bring them back

The problem with Joe Rogan is that he and many other influencers including Elon and Andrew Tate are really good at taking grievances and then twisting them into unfounded theories based in logic that poses as "Common Sense" Like "oh guys aren't getting girls because they're not as masculine and they're too sensitive and there's too much estrogen in our processed foods and white people are dying out" They build these nonsensical logic chains and young men believe them because they think it will solve their problems. And the problems they have are jobs and being single Harris was never going to appeal to that because she's a non-white female and frankly those audiences have been trained to not respect non-white people or females

I'm very angry Rogan endorsed Trump at the last minute. It'll definitely impact the vote among the "idiot young guys" demographic which is large. Hopefully Harris knows what she's doing
