    Not on the same level, but I think it got better as it went and I still mostly enjoyed it. Might have been a better show if they'd somehow extended those first couple of arcs to better flow into each other and let us get more footing. I've always been curious if the manga was as jumpy at the beginning.

    Yeah. Maybe they got more impact from having the double premiere, even if it meant burning through them faster? I guess it seems purposeful they changed to this rerun the previous ep plus new ep on just these last three?

    Yes! I'd love to see it re-adapted! The ending did feel a bit abrupt and eh, don't remember hating it but would love to see the entire rest and would totally watch them readapt the earlier stuff.

    Yeah, he'd fit well. Loved Soul Eater, still hoping we get a remake someday, would love to see that story animated again.

    Yeah, looks like there's only two more new eps to finish the season (this week's and next week's) and they've both been dubbed already. But yeah, also a bit confused why they've been doubling up these last weeks instead of airing them normally rather than burn through them quicker than necessary when there was no need.

    Yeah, I think it was on the schedule last week that the first ep would rerun last week's and the second would be new. Might be what they do each week to finish out the rest of the season.
