Not sure, I guess from training they expected him to report a problem when they asked him about his heart rate since this was supposed to be training. So they didn't get to try to cut him off remotely until he abruptly died.

I know that feel It's a distinctive show if you do ever get around to it or are looking for something to watch in between two more similar shows.
