True, I think something about it just felt slow in the moment since gangster guy has no presence like a jobber and they usually play up Sanji's speed. I think on rewatch I'll feel like you said that it's more about not expecting someone to shoot their own crewmate in the back.

I don't mean catch them, but like the guy took his time pointing his hand at the guy. But I guess it was probably "anime time" even though it felt like a situation where Sanji would have reacted. Then again not like that guy was someone he really knew.
