just fair warning with the sucky way my internet has been working lately it's always possible I'll lose connection or my TV will go out and I won't be able to finish the block with you so if I suddenly dissapear during toonami don't panic

it's not much different than Sailor Moon Crystal to me the animation is poor (though not as poor as season 1 and 2 of Crystal) and it doesn't get decent until 2 arcs in, like Crystal and only because a monumental ammount of fan hate made Toei re-evaluate how they were handling the show

it's a soulless cash grab, just because it's not terrible doesn't mean Toei didn't just make it because they wanted more money

does Pilaf not remember that the balls shoot half way around the planet and turn into marble for one year after being used?

bad animation is what Toei is known for also Goku is still losing

they also made some of the lines in the dub Gayer though(despite already being extremely gay) so I get the feeling they also wanted to show support for Gay rights

yeah when I invited elfie Sandstone and Kohikki back they had to wait an hour or so for Luuv to approve their accounts even if moose could get passed the IP ban Luuv would stop him during the account review process

I'm just so happy that Luuv finally banned moose, now I can watch Toonami without a homophobic clod telling me to stop being so Gay

both shows were recent pick-ups and they specifically picked up YOI as a show of support for LGBT rights (they more or less said so) also unless it's dub changed some lines Free! is not a Gay show. Kyoani denies any of the boys are Gay

not often, Viz actually screws up more than Funi that said, Funi is kind of having a shaky experience with their sudden decision to support LGBT rights they're a tiny bit overzealous and making odd decisions with said shows like Removing the Gay lines from Dragon maid (they were jokes and in some contexts could be considered homophobic jokes but still) that said if they add lines retconning the boys from Free! as actually being Gay in the dub I'll forgive the few mistakes they've made because the only thing wrong with that show was Kyoani's insistance that the boys were not Gay after all the blatant Gay subtext
