    Thanksgiving holiday is different from Christmas holidays and Labor Day. You could argue that Memorial Day and Labor Day are special too, and this year they were marathons too. But Thursday and Friday are the big attractions of TG weekend, and by the time Saturday rolls around, it's pretty much a normal Saturday. Yes, I know we got an MHA Villains marathon in 2022, (Missed opportunity for a "New Year's Evil?") but it seems normal Toonami did alright. RELEVANT AVERAGES: FLCL: Grunge - 199,333 FLCL: Shoegaze - 216,000 Demon Slayer: Mugen Train - 211,750 thru 4 episodes. Hopefully that will pick up as the movie redux enters its final arc this month!

    Numbers from last weekend finally in: https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/11/tv-ratings-for-saturday-25th-november.html?m=1 Demon Slayer did pretty good, but then Dr. Stone kinda dropped the ball after that. All premieres made the Top 50 but Shippuden, all the same.

    It IS kind of strange that the official Toonami Facebook page hasn't posted a schedule update since November 1st for the 11th and 18th, although the lineup was identical for the 25th and we pretty much already know will be for December 2nd and 9th. ...but will it be for December 16th? What if they decide to air something unexpected after Demon Slayer Mugen Train's finale, like the AOT FC Part 2 special? That night COULD be just DSMT, AOT finale, and Episode 6 of IGPX Remastered. But more likely than not it won't be, and the Dec. 16th lineup will be the same as 11/18, 11/25, 12/2, and 12/9.

    I'm guessing there will be marathons airing on the 23rd and 30th of December. What they plan to do with 1/6/24 is less clear, but I'm thinking Attack On Titan: Final Chapters Part 2 will air somehow that night, effectively making AOT's run on Toonami 2014-2024.

    It's a foregone conclusion that either December 23rd or 30th has to at least be an incoherent expansion just to get in all 7 episodes of Demon Slayer: Mugen Train in a marathon. Might as well keep it going on January 6th and beyond if it's the latter! Hell, maybe it will expand enough for all 11 episodes of the Entertainment District arc to air in an all-night marathon at some point, and since [as] is 13 hours now there would still be room for plenty of other shows on the lineup with a 6.25-hour marathon!
