  1. No advance for Naruto Shippuden, at least on Thursday. It might happen tonight, but we'll see! Edit: NOPE! It was 161-165 all week, just an endless loop of the Hidden Leaf getting destroyed! Now how do you like that mess? [see what I did there?]
  2. Lupin did well this week though. JoJo, not so much, which is a damn shame!
  3. Updated: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-9-9-2017.html 11:00 PM Dragon Ball Super 912,000 11:30 PM DBZ Kai: The Final Chapters 849,000 (93.09%) 12:00 AM JJBA: Stardust Crusaders 654,000 (77.03%) 12:30 AM Tokyo Ghoul 567,000 (86.70%) 1:00 AM Hunter × Hunter 553,000 (97.53%) 1:30 AM Lupin The 3rd 513,000 (92.77%) 2:00 AM Naruto: Shippuden 531,000 (103.51%) 2:30 AM Outlaw Star HD 417,000 (78.53%) 3:00 AM Cowboy Bebop HD 374,000 (89.69%) 3:30 AM Attack on Titan Season 2 362,000 (96.79%) TOONAMI TOTAL VIEWERS AVERAGE - 573,200 Toonami's seen better days, but that 912K for DBS at 11 is a welcome sight. It makes me believe if Toonami just stays the course and doesn't do any crazy schedule re-arrangements, brighter days are ahead. Plus, of course, either DBS or DBZKFC is likely to take a break for FLCL next year!
  4. Damn, Kai #47!? Well, at least JoJo beat 8:30 Super for once. The Weather Channel, I understand, but CNN Newsroom!? What the hell was up with CNN doing so well? Was there also a major geopolitical news story, or was this just for Irma?? I was right about Auburn/Clemson topping the chart though! Also, two College Football games topped Men 12-34, but DBZ KFC was #3! And it looks like DBZ KFC was at least #6 in Adults 18-34, despite being #47 with 18-49! Next week, things should be back to normal, and DBZ KFC and DBS should both be back in the top 10 if not the Top 5. Screw hurricanes and Kim Jong Un! Last but not least, LOOK what happened on Sunday! http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-sunday-cable-originals-network-finals-9-10-2017.html Rick & Morty conquered Weather Center Live!! And Fear the Walking Dead could only muster #17!
  5. You're missing the big picture. If a tornado's coming straight for me, I'm not watching the weather channel; I'm watching LOCAL news weather. The Weather Channel has been known to contain lots of overblown sensationalism in addition to factual reporting. That's why I have a problem with it destroying cable. That said, while large portions of the viewership was indeed affected by Irma, I daresay it will actually be College Football, namely the Auburn-Clemson game, which ruled cable on Saturday night. I also believe DBZ KFC will crack the top 20 if not the top 10.
  6. Friday ratings out, even more ridiculous: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-friday-cable-originals-network-finals-9-8-2017.html Wow. Bill Maher usually does better than #17. And I guess [as] was all reruns; CN's first appearance on the chart was way down at #75 (Ben 10 2017)!
  7. If this is any indication, when the ratings finally come in, it could be VERY ugly indeed! http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-thursday-cable-originals-network-finals-9-7-2017.html A whopping 18 slots of the Top 50 on Thursday went to The Weather Channel, including ALL of the Top 5! Good grief!
  8. Well, that's a shame! Oddly enough, we DO have this: We beat the Con Man marathon, but lost to...wha!?
  9. I believe they can and will next week or 2 weeks from now. Remember, we just had Episode 3 on the Toonami block Weekend stream! Also, JoJo's Part 1 didn't get its first marathon (of Episodes 1-5) until the week before its Christmas Eve on-air marathon (of Episodes 5-10)! As for a Stardust Crusaders on-air marathon? I would say Saturday before Halloween (October 28th), but how far back it would go is a mystery. If they get to use all of Toonami's timeslots, then we're talking 3-12, but that 3:30 AM timeslot might be different, so I'd say 4-12. Edit regarding Shippuden: It's actually 161-165 right now (completely skipping the 150s, apparently)...or WAS before 8 PM-ish. Now the Toonami stream is playing...Robot Chicken!? Nope, Pre-Flight. But it's still really weird that it switched to the Robot Chicken marathon when it got close to 8. Should be back to 161 about 9:30.
  10. Toonami observes Pain Awareness Month this week! This week, it's Viz's other current Toonami show Naruto Shippuden, which has advanced to unknown episodes, unlike its brethren Hunter x Hunter, which is inexplicably stuck in Heaven's Arena! I'm thinking it's 151-160, but I don't know for sure. It appears the Stream starts over at 8 AM Eastern/7 AM Central on Monday mornings, which means it's only on the 2nd or 3rd episode of the 5-episode run right now. Kakashi has just perished as well, and I can't remember what number episode that was. It seems like it has probably advanced beyond the end of the filler arc and the "crowjob", but I'm not sure. I'll get back to y'all as soon as I know more.
  11. Reiner's last-ditch effort... And that will do it! We sent Toonami off with a BANG!! UNTIL NEXT TIME--LATER!!
  12. Zoe is like a parrot on Eren's shoulder!
  13. This is a great episode!
  14. Episode #32 (Season 2, Episode 7) CLOSE COMBAT SHOWTIME!!!
  15. But not in 2015, when this aired for the first time I believe also at 3 AM!
  16. Outlaw Star will be back next week, if they all don't just burn up from being that damn close to the sun!!
  17. A good reaction to this:
  18. More like space cats!
  19. Toonami's Nostalgia Hour -- Making Anime Great Again!! CTARL-CTARL!!
  20. Oh yeah, we WERE in the middle of a fight 2 weeks ago, weren't we??
  21. ALL RIGHT!! GO! SHOWTIME!!
  22. Only if you've been watching too much Akame ga KILL!!
