Man, it took forever, but on 12/2/17, we shall finally have PRIME TIME TOONAMI! [just at 10:30] Wonder how this affects holiday marathons? I REALLY hope they don't decide to marathon Dragon Ball Super yet. Next year that would be OK if it's one and done, but dammit, JoJo and Gundam need some love! We can of course have 9 episodes of Gundam IBO capped off with Bebop and GITS, and 11 episodes of JoJo if they go that route this Christmas/New Year's!

No, Polnareff's introduction in Episode 5 is NOT an evil cliffhanger, but what happens to Avdol at the end of Episode 10 right before Polnareff and Kakyoin get pursued by Centerfold and Hanged Man in Episode 11 IS. Episode 10 is the first part of a 2-parter "Emperor & Hanged Man", so it was designed that way. And if at some point the stream decides to air 6-10, we can still look forward to THAT happening! If Wednesday night advance was still a thing, it would likely be happening right now. Episode 11 just played on the weekend Toonami stream (apparently now a requirement of being in the weekday marathons), so those episodes were fair game. But maybe Wednesday night advance will happen again someday when they move on to 6-10, IF they move on to 6-10. And if so, that means 11-15 would be on Wednesday. And since 15 ends the "Justice" 2-parter, that would work well.

Well, it's now official: we're stuck with 1-5 all week. But those episodes are BRILLIANT and 10 is such an evil cliffhanger I don't care!

So it looks like there is now a limited time after you make a post that it can be edited. Guess my days of half-assing multiple threads, then getting home to embellish them are over. But I digress. 190K in Adults 18-34 for Gundam & JoJo = YUCK! At least the Adults 18-49 are still just slightly better than the unholy megabomb night back on 12/13/14, as they look like they're over 300K but only slightly. 0.24 is still scary low for shows airing at midnight and 12:30 as the unholy trinity of college football, boxing, and Live PD reigns supreme now on Saturday nights.

Oh, so we're BACK!!! Wonderful! But this is gonna take some getting used to... Anyway, something strange happened this week. It appears that the wrong numbers got reported by ShowBuzzDaily--or are they the right numbers? Their chart indicates that JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Gundam IBO MIGHT have only gotten 0.24: Why 0.29 and 0.30, which are Gundam and JoJo respectively in MEN 18-49, got reported in the update is beyond me. We also still don't have Toonami numbers from Programming Insider so these are largely uncorroborated. But we do have TV By The Numbers, who gave an unusual nod to Dragon Ball Super: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/daily-ratings/saturday-cable-ratings-nov-11-2017/ They reported Gundam and JoJo simply as "0.2", which is probably 0.24 since a 0.25 would round up to 0.3, as we see with "COLLEGE FOOTBALL AFT" on ESPN2, which is a 0.25 above but a "0.3" on TVBTN. So, I'm going with 0.24 for Gundam and JoJo. It's also true that Gundam actually BEAT JoJo slightly. In a sense, you're right. I don't believe it has ever been advertised on Cable TV outside of Adult Swim. It should be having its commercial plastered all over other Turner networks, especially TNT during movies that also appeal to "geek" fandoms!
