I think after this Toonami has come and gone, the question that will be asked is "would it have been more relevant if it had aired on a 'better' night?" And there will be no answer to that question, except to point to those Wednesday night encores of Samurai Jack and shrug.

Believe it or not, this is actually the beginning of the last 2-parter before we reach the Egypt Arc! So get ready to walk like an Egyptian for the penultimate time tomorrow night! ONLY TOONAMI!!!

In fairness, if they ever manage to acquire one more timeslot, perhaps 10 PM, whole-show or season marathons of shows they acquired since the last time they stretched that long would then be possible. Those include Attack on Titan Season 2, One-Punch Man, and, yes, Dimension W. Considering all 3 were at least modest commercial successes, that wouldn't be a terrible idea!

I don't think so. The fact that Toonami included scenes from Season 2 in their latest "Better Cartoon Show" promo was pretty telling!

I still think so, even if lately it's become less relevant as better, more impactful series end up on Netflix and other streaming services. It still manages to pick up a gem every now and then like One-Punch Man, Attack on Titan, or the new Lupin series. And of course Gundam IBO is quality too, even if it's a bit light on the action. How about y'all?

The 18-49 average was 284K, the 2nd worst in Toonami history. Also, Family Guy at 10 PM pretty much tied DBS in both 18-49 and 18-34, though the latter lost total viewers.

You might be right. Well in that case, I guess that would mean Super at 10, AOT S3 at 10:30, then FLCL at 11? I dunno; AOT S3 seems kinda hot for 10:30. FLCL after Super would work. BTW, the block average was 496K total viewers. This is only the 2nd time in the block's history that it hasn't crossed 500K; the first is the Cowboy Bebop marathon last year.
