  1. Episode #72: "Children Of The Forest" THE CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT MAKE SUCH SWEET MUSIC... 12:30 AM TOMORROW NIGHT (4/10-11/21) ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  2. It WILL be on Toonami. Question is, how far behind the stream? I'm thinking May 8th to replace Attack on Titan at 12:30, but it COULD replace Dragon Ball Super at ANY time instead. Or maybe Super goes back to 11:30 PM? Just lose a 9:30/10 PM hour Rick & Morty, stick Final Space at 10 PM, have an hour of Family Guy after that, and you're good to go!!
  3. Was it on earlier? I suspect that SAO-A actually got better timeslots (12:30 AM) on Toonami...
  4. What's interesting is that SSSS.Dynazenon actually has a worse timeslot in Japan than SSSS.Gridman got on Toonami: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2021-03-27/ssss.dynazenon-anime-unveils-new-video-funimation-stream/.171210 2:55 AM Local time on a Friday night. It's like 5 minutes earlier than DVR Theater in the Central Time Zone!
  5. Well, Gridman at least finished over 200K: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-saturday-cable-originals-network-finals-4-3-2021.html "On Adult Swim, the primetime FINAL SPACE ticked down to 0.15, and the late-night line-up performed as follows: DRAGON BALL down 0.01 to 0.15/330K, ATTACK ON TITAN steady at 0.15, FOOD WARS steady at 0.12, FIRE FORCE steady at 0.12, BLACK CLOVER up 0.01 to 0.11, SSSS GRIDMAN up 0.01 to 0.10, NARUTO down 0.02 to 0.09, and DEMON SLAYER down 0.03 to 0.07/167K." As far as basic cable originals are concerned, AOT WON THE NIGHT in 18-34, but the rest of the lineup DROPPED HARD with that demographic for Food Wars and everything after. It also finally managed to do better than Final Space in all demographics except Female 18-49.
  6. Hey, you're right! I never noticed that! And the idea that in this virtual world, Akane created Rikka to be her friend and be more like her, I guess reflects that's what she looks like? Like somehow Rikka was the "real" Akane and the lavender-haired big-boobed avatar was actually the creation? What a twist! Of course, if that IS indeed the case, Alexis was more than happy to go along with the lie that Rikka was the "creation!" In the final scene, we learn that this show was actually an "isekai" all along!
  7. Well, I guess it COULDN'T have been a clue then. True, but you can't deny that it would be "groundbreaking!"
  8. They've done it before with a few episodes! You're right; this probably won't happen. But the ratings are so low at this point they MIGHT AS WELL give it a try! And besides, the jury's still out that they WOULD need to pay for it at this point. Then again, Warner had Seasons 1 and 2 and that didn't help, but now that AT&T runs the show, weird stuff has happened like the Batman and Wonder Woman movies and the HBO Max promotions. COULD first-run subtitled anime REALLY be that far behind? I mean, this year we ALREADY got Cosmo Samurai in Subtitles. Was that a clue?
  9. Crazy idea: since Warner actually owns the rights to JoJo, as in Part 6, as it was announced last night, what if Toonami actually premieres SUBTITLED episodes of Stone Ocean at like 3 AM, and [as] and HBO Max get an exclusivity deal for their streaming? It would be wild for T.O.M. and S.A.R.A. to actually be voiced in Japanese again EVERY Saturday night at 3 AM (Don't worry; Shippuden would move back up to 2:30), with an episode of JoJo Part 6, perhaps leading-in to another fairly recent, obscure show on Toonami that never got a dub at 3:30 AM! The 3 AM Subtitled hour--I'd say it's time to give it a try starting with JoJo Part 6 since that would certainly make Ai Fairouz more of a household name in America than she already is! And of course, the dubbed version would still air on Toonami later on in an earlier timeslot (12:30ish).
  10. Eren's last name is spelled "Jaeger." The name of the liquor is spelled "Jägermeister." So, they're not quite spelled the same, but they DO sound the same!
  11. Episode 144 - Black Clover - Anime News Network 4 Stars!! But if this turns out to be just a scheme, it would cheapen this arc. If it does, however, then so be it!
  12. I find them all equally interesting! I can hardly wait until we finally have new Bleach sometime next year or the year after that! 4/11 edit: Oh good. I may have crashed last night, but I can post the title for the next episode right here. All discussion from this point forward until further notice pertains to this episode: EPISODE 23: HASHIRA MEETING
  13. Same! For some reason, that episode felt a lot like the trial episodes of AOT Season 1. Similar pacing and drama.
  14. DAMN, A CLIFFHANGER!? Also, please note that we're under 3 weeks from Mugen Train hitting theaters! (Friday, April 23rd!)
  15. This dude is all just like "I don't care if he walks around with a demon. I'll forget either way!" And yep, good ol' Urokodaki's still coming to their aid! 👺
  16. From what I understand, it starts out great, but then just kind of peters out toward the end.
  17. I needed that instead of that weird cup nonsense [as] decided to invade Toonami with... Episode 22: "Master Of The Mansion!" YEAH, WAKE THE HELL UP!!!
  18. Well, I guess the Amaterasu provides electricity for telecommunications? But the fact that ROCK N' ROLL is a mythical, lost art is troubling!
