enad Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 I'm really enjoying this show thus far, and I think it's probably going to generate some movie careers. I have read the book so I'm aware of all the plot twists, but I like some of the updates they've done to characters to represent the current zeitgeist, like making the Internet God a teenage Oculus Rift freeze peach chud. Hopefully the interest in Gaiman's work finally gets Sandman going. Not a movie though, it would have to be a miniseries for the narrative to be portrayed correctly.
CAC Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Yeah it's pretty messed up so far, never read the book but I'm watching.
Ginguy Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 Love American Gods, it is a great adaptation. I am curious to see if Anansi Boys will be up next. Sandman should be a series on Starz, honestly that would be the best way to go.
naraku360 Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 I just looked it up. It sounds like it could be interesting, but at the same time.... "Shadow Moon"? Really? That's supposed to be a name? I feel like I wouldn't be able to take it seriously for having a protagonist with that name.
