Hot damn, respectable work from everyone, but One Piece nearly doubled what the second place winner (AssClass) got. That's crazy. No one can touch it, it seems....

 

Nice to see Bleach on the list still and at a respectable place. OPM, SDS and Academia in the top 10 are also nice things.

Very pleased with Prison School, World Trigger, and Golden Kamuy.(Yes it's spelled Kamuy even on the Japanese tankobons.)

 

Collecting the first 2 already, and Kamuy beginning next year. Also, dayum Academia juuuuuust lost to Seven Deadly Sins.

I love how 90 volumes in Conan still sells. And the movies have consistently grossed higher than the last, recently anyway. Keep it goin' Gosho!  ;D And Bleach and Assassination won't be on here next year. Wonder what will instead. Yuna of Yuragi Manor I hope. Tankobons already selling 100,000+ each. Best new series of 2016 imo.

Glad SDS did so well, but beating OPM?  Huh.

OPM is really really really popular in the west. In Japan....... it's still really really popular, there's just a few series that are more popular.

 

SDS I believe even beat One Piece last year at the half-way mark of 2015. People love them some SDS in Japan.

 

It's a shame FT is the more popular of the two in the west, SDS is so much better.

FT had a head start.  SDS has the Netflix exclusivity which helps somewhat.

Happy to see My Hero Academia. I've enjoyed the series thus far, so hopefully the trend will continue.

I'm kind of disappointed in Fairy Tail, but it is going to be wrapping up soon I suspect. I like it, so it is refreshing to see it in the top 15. I would have been happier with top ten, but....
