Raptorpat Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Prefacing that they will get my money, the vibe I'm getting is more of a FFVII remake as opposed to a direct/faithful remake like OoT3D was. I know it's entirely subjective, but I'm not sold that a wholesale remake (aka new game) is warranted because the original, or the original with the QOL from OoT3D, still holds up really well compared to modern games today. If it's an entirely new/modern game just with the same name and story, might as well just make a new game instead? Still processing my thoughts, and of course I'm gonna get it, but a 100% remake feels akin to remaking the Wizard of Oz or the Godfather. Quote
