Part 1 is worth marathoning, especially now that everything up to the Reze arc has been animated.

People also love to drop Part 1 spoilers as if everyone's caught up, so there'd be a higher priority to read ahead for Part 1 than Part 2 at the moment.

I'm enjoying Part 2, but it's pretty incomprehensible most of the time, so it's harder to spoil.

Bumping the thread because I'm curious if you followed through on this. The manga has since ended, and that ending seemed to be pretty controversial (on top of all the memes).
