I watched the first season of the old anime and liked it well enough, but not enough to buy more seasons on blu ray.  Always happy to see an unfinished show get (presumably) a full remake though!

I hope they make the intelligent artistic choice of killing Happosai or just not have him, like, at all.

I'm watching the original with friends and Happosai makes the show unwatchable. It's physically draining.
