Jman Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 https://press.wbd.com/us/media-release/warner-bros-discoverys-entertainment-networks-showcase-3000-hours-original-cross Quote In Rick and Morty: The Anime, a new series from the world of “Rick and Morty,” Rick relaxes in a pseudo-world between multiverses, Summer helps Space Beth fight the evil Galactic Federation, and Morty falls in love with a mysterious girl who happens to be an atemporal being. Rick is the only thing keeping Adult Swim afloat. 1 Quote

If I've said this once, I've said this a hundred times: Z***** was too nice by giving WB top billing over Discovery. It should have read "Discovery Warner Bros." the same way AOL took over TimeWarner. And we all know how the AOL merger went. 3 Quote
Sketch Posted May 16, 2024 Posted May 16, 2024 Yeah but that name doesn't ring as good. No updates on Primal, Get Jiro and some other previously announced shows is annoying. Some could still air this year but who knows at this point? 2 Quote

I mean, it is for me right now. Who knows if that translates to ratings and cash flow. They still haven't premiered a new comedy show other than Royal Crackers since the WBD (which does flow better, IMO) merger, and that show has now aired two seasons! I don't know how long they're going to keep this up, but they need an infusion of fresh shows. Quote
