ghostrek Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Is there any relief organizations people can donate money to or spread the word of such organizations 2 Quote
Insipid Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Aw, now I feel bad. From the sounds of it, it's nowhere near as bad as the 2011 Tohoku disaster. The tsunami warning was downgraded to an advisory. Natural disasters of this scale happen at least once a year in Japan. They'll be fine, ghostie. 1 Quote
tsar4 Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 If you see a "charity" already requesting money for something this recent, it's probably a scam. Stick with known, major charities. Look on "Charity Navigator" for 3 or 4 stars and see if they help with things you're concerned about. If you have a Food Bank in your area, they can always use donations. You can find one near you on FeedingAmerica.org. 4 Quote
