Went to one of my favorite fishing spots today after work

It was such a nice day today and as soon as I finished up work I grabbed my pack and rod and headed out to one of the spots. The tide was high and the water was completely flat.. like glass! It was so beautiful. The place is a popular spot for kids to come drink and party sometimes but I was all alone out there and had the whole area to myself. Ended up staying til after dark and just got back now haha I love being outdoors!

 

I also stumbled upon some Horseshoe Crabs having an orgy. Lucky bastards were having a spicy time lmao

horseshoe crab blood is a highly prized commodity these days. Missed an opportunity to make a few hundred bucks, lol

You can get a rod and some tackle from Walmart for like ~30 bucks! Then you just gotta find some water with fish in it!!

I used to go to my great aunt’s house and fish. She lived right on the lake. But she passed away many years ago. 
Finding somewhere to fish probably would not be a problem. The problem is I don’t like to fish alone, and no one else I know likes fishing. 🤷‍♂️😂

I love fishing with friends but there is also something awesome about being on the water and fishing all alone. It is so soothing haha IDK
