And remember, this is the same guy who just tossed Dr Stone S3 announcement on Facebook without a word making everyone think it was a mistaken reveal. But he totes would have done better for Gundam, promise. 

Honestly, the Doctor Stone thing makes no sense. It’s the first new thing in several months and nothing is said. Even if it’s a little predictable sequel, it’s significant

 

Regarding Gundam, if they manage to get it in the end, it shows that he should never publicly close the door on a show. People will take that to mean “don’t wait for it. Go watch it” Hellsing was lesson number 1 in that and I’d say MHA was the second, I literally was 2 seasons in on my own when they announced it for Toonami

I feel that’s an exaggeration when all the guy said was “we would have made some noise but it wasn’t to be”

And that was in direct response to an article questioning why it dropped with no notice. It’s a fair observation and I think CR has actually been overall better about not shadow dropping dubs since then. A positive change from before.
