OwlChemist81
Yeah, like they're gonna pull the regular lineup for 2 weeks, put it back for one, and then run a damn marathon? That'd be a "no!"

I'd say the same but you don't know what will happen with toonami I'd like to think there's no way they'd run a labor day marathon now but that isn't set in stone
Sketch
It could go either way. The two weeks off has put them in the position to either run a LBW marathon and finish JoJo on October 31st or run the regular lineup on LBW so they can finish JoJo on October 24th and be able to start a new show and Fire Force season 2 the weekend after Halloween. They can also run marathons on LBW and Halloween, leaving the final episode of Golden Wind for the first Saturday in November. I think given the current state of things they will forego a LBW marathon and do a Halloween night marathon but that would mean starting another show (probably a rerun) on LBW. Ballmastrz will finish on August 29th. If it’s a rerun, they probably won’t be hesitant to start a show that weekend. But it seems equally likely that they’ll do a LBW marathon to buy another week for Black Clover and Fire Force season 2. And then they can still choose wether or not to have a marathon on Halloween night.
CountFrylock
why not just have a marathon on the 29th at that point? having two weeks of batman movies than one week with the block back before it's off again would really suck

They did that kind of thing all the time last year: AOT Season 3 Part 2 started Memorial Day weekend and both Gundam: The Origin AND Food Wars started on 4th of July weekend. Ironically, the holiday weekend that did the best was Labor Day weekend, and nothing new started on that day at all! I believe they will use the Bat-break to actually acquire something new for the midnight timeslot as a lead-in to JoJo, now that Dragon Ball Super has failed to cut it. And DBS will probably stay on the schedule but it may take a break on 8/29, then come back at 2 AM on 9/5. That way they wouldn't HAVE to pull out a new show, and they can keep Fire Force doing its thing to lead-in to Season 2. The only X-Factor is Black Clover, but at least 2 weeks of Batman should slow it down to the point that it can make it through part of September. CountFrylock
I Really hope they don't have a labor day marathon but i keep thinking it's more likely than we realize
OwlChemist81
On the contrary, I don't see it happening! Like at all! We've got the Buttman happening for the next 2 weeks, so the next marathon is gonna be Halloween!

OwlChemist81
Well, supposing they get 131 next week, and then 132 the week after that, and then take a break on Labor Day weekend before rolling out 133 and 134 over the next 2 weeks, and continue the current pattern of 2 weeks on, one week off, that means with no more interruptions Toonami would not run out of Black Clover episodes until mid-October. The question is: CAN they?

Sketch
Looks like Zap2it and probably other sites are now listing the regular line-up on September 5th with new JoJo, Ass Class ep 2, new Black Clover and new Shippuden (also DBS and Fire Force reruns). Given that, they might manage to keep the October 24th premiere for Fire Force season 2. They'll have to double it up one week to pull that off but it would be a fine stall tactic for Black Clover. They could still delay new Fire Force till November if they take off Halloween night. Edited August 26, 2020 by Sketch

I Wonder if it's just placeholders(since DC Fandome splitting in two was a last minute decision that would have caught toonami off guard)or if nothing will happen and they won't do anything for Part 2 Of Fandome We'll just have to wait and see if more dc movies are announced in the next couple of days
